Leto started the food fast yesterday at dinner. I don't think he could figure out why we didn’t share a little of our snack food with him, as his dog dish was void of food. This morning I took him to the park and let him run out some energy (he has lots of this). When it was time to leave, he was very excited because I was taking him for a ride. Off to the vet we went. Little did he know what was planned for his day. I heard him whine a bit when I walked out the vet door, but other than that he seemed excited to meet new people. Today Leto will be neutered and his immunizations will be brought up to date. I will pick him up tomorrow.
It feels strange to come home and not having him greet me at the door.
March 31 update: Leto is home and he is doing well. We are to limit his activity. This will be a challange as he seems just as energetic as before.
