What does it mean to live a Christ like life? Jesus gave up his life so that we might live. Is one of the aspects of living a Christ life mean to give up your life? and no I don't mean to literally give up your life as in die, but maybe Christ is calling us to give up our desires and wants for other's happiness. So when these opportunities come our way we should use them? This as a human is very difficult to put into practise. I find myself doubting my strength in the ability to do this. Does this mean I need to shut down my desires and can I bear the emotions attached in doing this?

I guess the reason I contemplate living a Christ like life is that in the past this is where I have found peace and worry free life. Living for Jesus simply makes your life more content and peaceful. Right now I feel so very far away from peace and contentment.

My heart feels squeezed and my stomach can't stand the thought of food. I feel close to tears and I don't feel like talking to anyone. This is all so very unbrenda like. It seems so unfair to wake up feeling this way.
