Baking Buns

Recently we were invited for dinner to a friends home. They served buns that were made by the Hutterites. They were so delicious. The very next day I decided to search the internet for a recipe. I found a few different sites with Hutterite buns and they all looked like the same recipe. I decided to try them. They tasted exactly the same as the buns we were served. Ya I found it! The internet is a great place :)
Here is the recipe I found.

3 1/2 cups warm milk

1 tbsp yeast
1 tsp honey
3 tbsp butter

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 small egg
8 cups flour

Dissolve yeast with 1 tsp honey and 1/2 cup milk. Melt the butter and combine with milk, honey, sugar and egg. Mix well. Add flour. Knead and let rise 1 hour. Knead a second time and let rise 2 hours. Form the buns and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 450F for 10 - 15 min. Makes 30 large buns.

Next time I make them I'll take pictures :)
