My Saturday in Steinbach

Yesterday I went for a long walk with my dog, Leto. It was a beautiful sunny morning. We started off heading toward a new business in town called Cooc. My friend Brette happened to have the same idea as me and was picking up a delicious smoothie too. We chatted for a bit. Then on to Source for Sports to pick up some new sports socks. I like the white socks that have the extra elastic through the middle of your foot, and I took the last pair on the shelf :). George a guy that has worked at Source for a long time came out and admired Leto and we chatted for a bit about dogs. Everyone comments on what a beautiful dog Leto is. Then we walked all the way along the number 12 hwy to the juntion of 52 and 12. Went down main street to another new company in Steinbach called Fluid Hot Yoga. They have 3 classes every day except Sunday. Single drop in fee of $17 and if I sign up for a 20 card pass it will cost $13 a session. I think I will sign up for this next week. I enjoy yoga and I would like to try Hot Yoga, I understand it is good for detoxing your body. Then off we went to Extra Foods another couple of blocks down main street. I picked up some dog treats for Leto. On the way home we stopped at Hull's book store, once again I tied Leto up outside the store and went inside to look for a book by Connie Podesta called Life Would Be Easy If It Weren't for Other People. They didnt have it in stock, maybe I will order it online. Here is a link to one of her utube videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeLwbZgJ7ns . I find her very interesting to listen to. She has many clips on utube.
Leto once again had an admirer. :) He is such a loved dog.

I so appreciate Steinbach and how it's expanding. I want to be apart of making it a wonderful place to live. I love how we are expanding our city by welcoming people from many different ethnic backgrounds. We are sensitive to the needs of others, always room for improving this of course. We are a helpful community. I appreciate the minumal amount crime. I like the small town mentality Steinbach holds onto. I like how we are slowly pushing the boundaries of Steinbach's old "rules". We are sensitive to needs of others.
