half my day

So tired first thing in the morning but I roll out of bed and take my dog Leto for his daily walk at 6:30am. We walk for about 30min. Once I am on my way I enjoy it and it wakes me up more fully. I love to take a new route each day. I appreciate the quietness of the morning and the fresh feeling a new day gives you. I prepare myself for work and eat breakfast. I'm not a routine type of person so I vary what my breakfast is, but it does need to be quick. Then I take time to check out fav blogs. I admire my neice's style of how she seems to naturally transfer whats in her head to words. I love getting new recipe idea's from my mom's cooking blog and seeing the appetizing food pictures. I am happy for my mom that she and her fellow mennonite bloggers are together and enjoying a wonderful week site seeing and getting to know each other better. So many good picture's of the group on the blog "Mennonite Girls Can Cook"
This weekend Kevin and I are attending a Country Barn Dance with a dress up theme of 50's through to the 70's. I hope I can put some kind of outfit together for the event.
I am excited to see that there are some family pitures posted on the internet from the Reimer Gathering that happened last weekend. It seems like such a long time ago already. Looking at the picture's makes me smile and feel good. Here is the link: http://gallery.me.com/khadija.cutcher#100155
I arrive at work by 8am, I am usually punching the clock right at 8. My new job doesn't feel like the right fit and I wonder what is the right fit.
The morning is slow and I am looking for work, like most days. I like fall and I think about how much cooler the days have been recently. I like to wear jeans and a sweater and this is the perfect weather for it. On my way home for lunch I decide to stop at McDonalds for my latest craving. McMini spicy tai, when I pull up to the drive through window I realize they have a new McMini. It's mango and I order it to find out if I will enjoy it as much as the tai. I do! It is every bit as good as the tai. When I arrive at home with my McMini I see that Kevin is already home and off for the weekend. Sigh... to be off early on Friday's would be sweet.
It's time to head back to work :(.
And I am so looking forward to my sis being in her new home!
